English “2010 Tyre Awards” Go to Continental

Hanover, January 14, 2011. The English online publication “Tyre Reviews” has cited the ContiSportContact 5 P as “High-Performance Tyre of the Year” and named the premium Continental brand “Brand of the Year”. The independent editorial staff based their decision on the performance of the Continental summer tire in last year's tire tests: Continental competed eleven times, landing first place in six of the tests. The editors explained that, in all tests where the manufacturer was not the test winner, the product was always one of the top three competitors. |

The new ContiSportContact 5 P landed the title “High-Performance Tyre of the Year”, since it was examined in three tests and found to be the best tire in two of them. In the other test, according to the editors, the tire came in third, extremely close behind the two other top models. The online publication “Tyre Review” is run by independent automotive enthusiasts, who based their decisions on the test results of major West European car magazines.
